Bikers Launch White Ribbon Day

Today is White Ribbon Day.  The day when the spotlight is turned on domestic abuse, the lasting harm it does and the extent of it.

St Helena’s bikers launched White Ribbon Day yesterday.  They met at the seafront to start an afternoon tour of the Island to raise awareness of the day to come. They’re off!  Up Ladder Hill first, then into the country

The day inspires individuals and organisations to take positive action to challenge harmful cultures and behaviours that lead to violence against women and girls. White Ribbon Accredited and Supporter Organisations and White Ribbon Ambassadors and Champions are vital in driving this culture change.
