The race to renewables – main message, more collaboration between Islands
Julie Thomas St Helena Cheif Minister joined four others for a discussion on The Race to Renewables which is part of the Virtual Island Summit (VIS) organised by Island Innovation. The Summit finishes today. This is the 5th VIS, Julie contributed to a previous summit soon after becoming Chief Minister.
During the general discussion at the end of the presentations, our chief minister continued the collaboration and mutual help theme, saying there was no ‘meerkating’ in St Helena. This meant we had no neighbours in a similar situation where we could just ‘look over the fence’ to see what they were doing.
